Designed, animated and scripted (with help from my friends at ScribbleFish) a Flash countdown clock for Disney Vacation Club Tokyo. The clock denotes the time until the next sales presentation and is set by Disney employees on a touch screen that is connected to a pair of guest-facing high-definition displays. Paper|Thin
Conceptualized, designed and front-end developed Paper|Thin's corporate Web site. The conceptualization process included a discovery period focused on ensuring the homepage design succinctly communicated Paper|Thin's brand message and core competencies, while the development included HTML, CSS and jQuery work within the CommonSpot CMS framework. Walt Disney World
Designed and animated a Flash site for Disney's convention ticket sales group. The Flash file features a dynamic element that populates name and link information based on the value of a PHP query string in the URL. View the Flash animation sample »
Orlando Meetings
Front-end coded and integrated Orlando Meetings Web site into the CommonSpot CMS. The integration required that the content blocks be highly flexible, yet easily managed by content contributors, and incorporates Open AdStream for ad serving. View the live site »
Walt Disney World
Designed and coded four unique templates for the delegate's Web site of Disney's convention ticket sales group. Site required mobile device compatibility and was integrated into client's proprietary content management solution.
Orlando Convention & Visitors Bureau
Architected front-end features for the official destination Web site for Orlando, Florida. Coded a cross-site CSS framework for 16 unique sites, designed front-end visual elements and created interactive Flash, Flex and video content. Site supports multi-language content and was integrated into the CommonSpot Content Management Solution.
Seton Hall University
Coded three client-supplied, layered images into valid, standards compliant XHTML/CSS for Seton Hall University's emergency alert system. Templates were integrated into the CommonSpot Content Management Solution.
Weddings Unique
Provided complete Web site solution for wedding planner to the celebrities, Heather Snively. Created artwork reflective of the Weddings Unique brand and integrated interactive Flash-based elements to convey the brand message. Site was coded to allow the client to manage content using Adobe Contribute.
Ace Surfaces North America
Provided complete Web site solution for North American subsidiary of Rebound Ace, the official court surface supplier of the U.S. and Australian Open tennis tournaments. Developed a custom-built content management solution that empowers client to create, edit and manage content on the site. Site features RSS supported press releases, photo gallery powered testimonials, and a Flash-based, court design tool.
Personality Coaching
Provided complete Web site solution for My Personality Coach, the Web site of life coach Regina Fasold. Aided in the development of the My Personality Coach brand and designed site to reflect the brand message. Developed a custom-built content management solution that empowers client to create, edit and manage content on the site.
Achievements
Drafted strategy to rebuild the infrastructure and architecture for the OrlandoInfo.com and OrlandoMeetingInfo.com Web sites using the CommonSpot Content Server.
Result: Completed redeployment initiative and improved site performance and operating efficiency while reducing associated maintenance costs. Enhancements in standards compliance and search engine optimization have resulted in an additional 5 million page views annually.
Converted OrlandoInfo.com Web sites from static HTML-based templates to a flexible and dynamic CSS/XHTML hybrid.
Result: Increased productivity by reducing dependency on application developers to make non-technical changes. The cached CSS/XHTML files decreased bandwidth usage and reduced operating costs.
Leveraged standards-compliant design and development principals to increase natural search engine referrals by 37 percent.
Result: Increased search listings to over 1 million results annually resulting in a 24 percent increase in Web site traffic to OrlandoInfo.com between 2006-2007 and 2007-2008
Spearheaded the revision of the Internet advertising sales model for the OrlandoInfo.com Web site by developing short and long-term strategies focused on building advertiser confidence and return on investment.
Result: Generated over $1 million in Internet advertising revenue annually by applying the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Universal Ad Package as the organization's ad standard. Implemented 24-7/Realmedia's Open Adstream for ad management to ensure reliable ad serving and reporting.
Fostered change in analytics reporting for the Orlando CVB Web sites through the implementation of Omniture Site Catalyst.
Result: Guided the organization away from a generalized event-count model to a results driven methodology that measures success through the execution of business goals. Instilled campaign level accountability by leveraging metrics identifying success rates as relevant to each department's business objectives.
Utilized analytics reports from Omniture Site Catalyst to revise OrlandoInfo.com Web site's user interface design.
Result: Drove site traffic into desired target areas with increases of up to 150%. Increased key performance indicators related to the exposure of marketing campaigns, ticket sales and data harvesting.
Partnered with the Orlando CVB marketing team to initiate a strategy aimed at building and completing CRM records.
Result: Developed solution for a direct to consumer e-mail campaign with 90,000 recipients. The call to action, which revolved around OrlandoInfo.com's ongoing sweepstakes, had a 3% conversion rate and saw the completion of over 3,000 records at no cost to execute.
Streamlined disproportionate OrlandoInfo.com Web site content through delivery methods such Flash, Flex and AJAX.
Result: Improved the end-user experience by simplifying application interfaces and delivering more relevant, interactive and feature-rich content. Made applications easier to manage as well as portable across other company Web sites.
Provided Internet related consultation services-on a contract basis-to organizations in varying business arenas.
Result: Successfully facilitated companies' needs by custom-tailoring Internet-related business solutions to meet their organizational needs and business objectives.
Managed Poinciana branch of the Kissimmee Utility Authority's start-up, high-speed Internet service.
Result: Built and maintained a customer base penetrating 25 percent of the serviceable area and surpassed company's target goal of the 7 percent national average.
Innovated sales and marketing strategies to promote the Kissimmee Utility Authority's high-speed Internet service.
Result: Surpassed company customer forecast in the first year by approximately triple by establishing services-such as customer-only classroom training-aimed at enhancing service value and building rapport.
Developed Web site for the project management of the City of Hartford's Community Development Block Grant program.
Result: Reduced the resources required in the CDBG application and notification processes and saved the city over $2,500 in fulfillment and postage costs.
